We are eagerly awaiting to see our student’s faces on Monday, August 13 for the First Day of School.  Please arrive early in order to avoid being tardy.  Breakfast is served from 7:10-7:35 a.mFirst period bell rings at 7:40 a.m.  We ask all parents to please be patient and courteous as everyone learns the drop off and pick up procedures.  Dismissal is from 2:55-3:15 p.m.  See you on Monday!

New Student Orientation (tax free sales day) is August 10 from 9:00-4:00.  Purchase uniform shirts, spirit shirts, ID etc in our front office NOW – August 10.  If you already submitted orientation packet documents and purchased items you do not need to attend orientation.

It is Back to School time!  Come meet your teacher(s) on August 7 from 1:30-4:00.  Bring your school supplies on this day to leave in your classroom/locker.

Please use the links below to access your child’s Summer Reading Projects/Assignments.

Students in grades 3-5 will be expected to read a minimum of four (4) books, two (2) of the books being STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) related and complete two (2) projects/assignments, one based on one of their STEM summer reading selections and one based on their personal selection. Students must rate themselves after reading their selected books and upon completion of their projects using the self-evaluation-reading assignment rubric (see sample on next page).

These projects were designed to promote creativity, engagement, and fun with reading!

Students will have the choice of selecting from a variety of projects in which they will bring with them on the first day of school Monday, August 13, 2018.

We are now accepting applications from certified ESL and Bilingual Teachers. The link to apply is located below:


STAAR (May 14-16) and Field Day shirt (May 24) that will be worn by all grades.  Please place your orders by Friday, May 4 to ensure that we receive shirts on time.  The cost will be $12.00 and is made of dry fit material. Samples are available with PTO. The shirt will be camo print with the “STAARVIVOR, I WON’T GIVE UP!”.  You may make your payment online with your debit/credit card through bit.ly/staarshirt or in person with cash.

The upcoming school year is approaching and we would like to get your input as to which campus you would like your child to attend as they continue their Harmony education.  As you know, Harmony School of Excellence – El Paso (HSE) only has two(2) sections of 6th grade available-56 slots.  The remaining 56 students would attend Harmony Science Academy – El Paso (HSA).  HSE and HSA offer the same academic opportunities for students in 6th grade.

Please use this form to select which campus you would like your child to attend for the 2018-2019 academic school year.  Campus preference is not guaranteed,  as selections will be on a first come, first serve basis for the 56 slots.  Student forms not received by April 20th, 2018, will be placed into a lottery.  Campus preference needs to be completed by Friday, April 20, 2018.

If a form and waiver are not completed for your child, he or she WILL NOT be able to attend the field trip.  The field trip is on April 17, 2018.
